The Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge Will Be Closed This Weekend

Heads up, drivers — the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will be completely closed from Friday at 11:59 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.

Quebec’s Transport Ministry says the closure is needed to install new support beams on the structure.

Once it reopens, two lanes will be available in each direction.

Motorists are advised to use Highways 20 and 30 as alternate routes.
