RTL Drivers Announce Strike for September 9–11

The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) has confirmed that service will be disrupted from September 9 to 11, 2025, due to a planned strike by its bus drivers.

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) has filed a strike notice on behalf of 714 RTL drivers, who are currently negotiating a new collective agreement after their previous contract expired on December 31, 2024.

Commuters are advised to plan ahead and check for updates as more information becomes available.
