If you thought June’s commute was rough during the STM strike, unfortunately, more disruptions might be coming.

The Société de transport de Montréal (STM) says its employees, represented by the Syndicat du transport de Montréal, have filed a strike notice that could run from September 22 to October 5.

Around 2,400 union members plan to refuse overtime for the full two weeks amid a wage dispute. This could impact both bus and métro services, though details will be shared in the coming days.

The STM has confirmed that some bus and métro service will continue, and paratransit service will operate as usual.
