If you’re planning to drive around Montreal this weekend, you might want to think twice!
The Montreal Marathon is back, and with multiple races happening, traffic is expected to be heavily disrupted.
On Saturday, three races (1 km, 5 km, and 10 km) will take place, with street closures from 6:45 AM to 12:35 PM.
On Sunday, the half and full marathons will start on Île Ste-Hélène and finish at Parc Maisonneuve, with closures from 6:30 AM to 3:25 PM.
You can check the full list of road closures here.
This annual event isn’t just about traffic—it’s a city-wide celebration. So if you’re not running, come out and cheer on the thousands of participants taking part.
