And it looks like we’ll be rocking on for a third time, Montreal!
That’s right—the iconic Disney Channel movie franchise Camp Rock, which launched the careers of the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, has confirmed that a third installment is officially in the works.
Filming has already begun, and Joe, Nick, and Kevin Jonas are all set to reprise their roles as Connect 3. However, Demi Lovato, who played Mitchie Torres, will not return on-screen (at least for now). Instead, they’ll be joining the project as an executive producer.
According to a press release, the story will follow Connect 3 after they lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, sending them back to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing.
We can’t wait to see the first images from the set. Until then, we’ll be blasting some of the iconic tracks from the original movies on repeat!
