Big news for film fans—Oscar-nominated French-Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve is officially set to direct the next James Bond movie!
Amazon MGM made the announcement, with the Dune director sharing that he’s a “die-hard James Bond fan” and plans to honour the iconic legacy of the franchise.
One big mystery remains: we still don’t know who the next Bond will be… so that’s something to watch for!
Villeneuve was chosen over several top contenders, including Edgar Wright and Jonathan Nolan.
