On Thursday, October 29th, The Beat 92.5 transformed Espace Saint-Denis into a glittering paradise of funk, rhythm, and retro glamour for The Beat’s Halloween Bash: Disco Edition. We challenged our city to break out the bell-bottoms, platform boots, and shimmering sequins—and Montreal responded by turning the venue into the ultimate vintage dance sanctuary (with a vibe so electric it gave 1970s Studio 54 a serious run for its money).
From the exact second guests stepped through the doors and were welcomed by dazzling disco divas at the entrance, the energy didn't stop. Here is a look back at a night of pure groove, incredible memories, and non-stop boogie!
An Immersive Disco Wonderland: Designed by Manina World
The entire visual spectacle was conceived and executed by the powerhouse team at Manina World, who designed every corner of the evening from top to bottom.
They delivered a sensory explosion of authentic disco culture: synchronized choreographed dancers taking over the floor, rollerbladers gliding effortlessly through the party, live percussionists amplifying the beat with driving rhythms, and shimmering reflections bouncing across the room.
Guiding that pulse all night long was DJ Yo-C, who commanded the turntables with an endless stream of disco classics, funk heaters, and dance anthems that kept the floor packed right up until the last beat dropped.
Retro Looks & A Touch of History
Our Beat 92.5 announcer lineup showed up dressed to the nines, with Lee stealing the spotlight thanks to a truly wild, sky-high wig that fully embraced the over-the-top excess of the '70s! The crowd matched that same energy with incredible vintage outfits, including one amazing listener who even joined us on stage to share stories from when she used to party at the legendary Studio 54 back in the day.
