Well Montreal, you might want to start stocking up on wine and other SAQ products — because the Société des alcools du Québec could be heading toward another strike.

Around 500 of its office workers have voted in favour of a strike mandate that could last up to 15 days, at any time.

This is the second time since March that SAQ staff have voted in favour of a strike.

The office workers’ union is demanding wage increases that match inflation and the inclusion of telework in its collective agreement.

If it goes through, this would mark the first strike in 50 years for SAQ office employees.
