Well Montreal, there’s a lot to be thankful for this year — and one of them is the long weekend ahead!
If you somehow manage to roll off the couch after all that turkey and pumpkin pie (we believe in you), here’s what will be open and closed on Thanksgiving Monday in the city:
Open:
- Most shopping malls and grocery stores
- Atwater and Jean-Talon Markets
- Garbage, recycling, and compost will keep the usual schedules
- Ecocentres
- The Planetarium, Biodôme, Botanical Garden and Insectarium.
- STM will be operating on a modified schedule
- STL routes will run on a Saturday schedule.
- EXO buses will run on a Saturday schedule, while trains will run on a Sunday schedule
Closed:
- Banks and financial institutions
- Public libraries
- Canada Post
- Most SAQs
- The Grande Bibliothèque
