The Beat 92.5 / / The Beat 92.5

It always gets a little emotional when everyone’s favourite game comes to an end, doesn’t it? Well, the final Beat FX sound was officially guessed this Tuesday with Donna Saker - which means our beloved contest has wrapped up!

Over the past few weeks, we threw in some pretty tricky sounds that left you all wondering, “What’s that sound?!”

From Monday to Friday, we played the sound four times a day and twice on weekends giving you plenty of chances to guess and WIN!

At first, it seemed like no one would crack our very first sound… until our first big winner stepped up on The Beat Breakfast Club!

Congratulations to Stephanie from Brossard!

She correctly guessed the Beat FX sound… a rotary phone! And scored an amazing $6,250!!

Then came Round 2, and let’s be honest, that one was really tough! But eventually, we got another big win on The Beat of Your Workday with Donna!

Congratulations to Alex from Longueuil!

He guessed the correct Beat FX sound which was a straw in a cup and took home $7,750!!

Special thanks to our friends at Decarie Motors for powering up this round of The Beat FX and welcoming The Beat Breakfast Club to their headquarters!

And most importantly, thank YOU, Montreal, for playing along and making Beat FX such a hit! While this season may be over, you know we’ve always got something exciting up our sleeves.
