Halloween is creeping up fast, Montreal! And just like every year, the big question returns… will your little ones need an umbrella to go trick-or-treating?

Wondering if you’ll have to swap out your kid’s costume or grab the rain gear this Halloween? Here’s what the forecast is saying:

According to MétéoMédia, temperatures are expected to hover around 9 degrees Celsius on the 31st, dropping to about 5 degrees Celsius in the evening… So yes, you’ll definitely need a coat.

As for the umbrella? There’s a 40 to 60% chance of light rain, meaning you might want to keep one handy just in case.

If you’re planning to head out all weekend, be prepared — Saturday night will be chilly, with lows around 4 degrees Celsius.

So, it’s safe to say you might want to keep that umbrella close wherever you end up this Halloweekend!
