As October wraps up, Montreal is heading into a new month filled with daily strikes across the city.

According to the union representing STM maintenance workers, employees plan to strike every day throughout November, including municipal election day on November 2. During that day, service will only run during peak hours.

Roughly 2,400 maintenance workers are set to begin their third strike on October 31 at 10 p.m., lasting until November 28 at 10 p.m.

While the full impact on transit service isn’t yet clear, the STM has confirmed there will be some form of strike action every single day throughout November.

Stay tuned for updates as more details emerge.
