A major celestial event is happening this week, and you won’t want to miss it!
The Beaver Moon, the second of three supermoons this year, is expected to be the biggest and brightest one of 2025.
According to NASA, a supermoon occurs when a full moon is closer to Earth in its orbit, making it appear up to 14% larger and 30% brighter.
Why is it called the Beaver Moon? Because it coincides with the time when beavers prepare their shelters for winter.
The Beaver Moon will reach its peak on November 5 at 8:19 AM ET, but the best viewing in Canada will be on the evenings of November 4 and 5.
Let’s hope the skies are clear so we can catch this stunning event!
