This Iconic Montreal Noodle Manufacturer Is Closing After 100 Years

It’s the end of an era for Montreal’s Chinatown.

Wing Noodles, Quebec’s largest East Asian noodle and cookie manufacturer, has announced that it will cease operations by the end of November.

The business, which is over 100 years old, has been a staple of Montreal’s Chinatown, supplying fortune cookies, rice noodles, and sauces to countless Chinese restaurants across the city for decades.

According to their website, Wing Noodles was also the first East Asian food manufacturer to offer bilingual fortune cookie messages.
