STM Maintenance Workers Announce Overtime Strike for December

Another strike could be on the horizon for the Société de transport de Montréal’s maintenance workers.

The union representing the employees has announced that they will refuse to work overtime from December 9, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

However, unlike previous strikes, bus and metro services will continue to operate throughout the overtime strike, and paratransit operations will continue without interruption.

More information will follow on the strike and how it could affect commuters.
