Great news for many Quebec workers: the minimum wage is officially rising this spring!

The Quebec government announced that the province’s minimum wage will increase from $16.10 to $16.60 on May 1, 2026. This 3.11% raise is higher than last year’s 35-cent increase and could result in an extra $687 in annual take-home pay for full-time employees.

Additionally, the minimum wage for workers who receive tips will also see a boost, rising from $12.90 to $13.30.
