Months after the initial slogan controversy, the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) has updated how it plans to show support for the city’s sports teams.
The transit agency announced that it will once again feature the word “Go” on bus electronic signage. This means that "Go Habs Go" and "Go Alouettes Go" will return to city streets during game days.
However, the phrasing will depend on the team. The STM specified that it will use “Allez” for CF Montréal and the Montreal Roses, while the Canadiens, Alouettes, and Montreal Victoire will be paired with “Go.”
According to the STM, these distinctions were made after direct consultations with the various sports organizations.
