Huge news for Montreal travelers: the new terminal at the Montréal Metropolitan Airport (MET), located in Saint-Hubert on the South Shore, will officially open on June 15. The announcement was confirmed Tuesday morning.

The new terminal will feature nine boarding gates and a 900-seat lounge. Two airlines, Porter Airlines and Pascan Aviation, will offer flights to cities across Canada from this location.

To ease the commute, an express shuttle called the METbus will connect passengers from the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke Metro station directly to the airport’s drop-off area.

Once fully operational, the terminal is expected to welcome up to four million passengers annually!
