Check Your Fridge: Major Milk Recall Issued Over Glass Concerns

If you have recently purchased milk, please review the details below.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a Class 1 recall for milk products sold under the Farmers, Québon, and Natrel brands due to the possible presence of pieces of glass. A Class 1 recall indicates that consuming these products could lead to serious health consequences.

Here are the affected products:

  • Québon: 2% Chocolate Partly Skimmed Milk
    • Best Before: MR 25, AL 01, AL 21, AL 28
  • Natrel (National): 1% Lactose Free Chocolate Partly Skimmed Milk
    • Best Before: AL 06, AL 13, AL 20, AL 28, MA 04, MA 08, MA 11, MA 15
  • Farmers (NS & P.E.I.):
  • 1% Chocolate Partly Skimmed Milk (Best Before: MR 26, AL 01, AL 02, AL 15)
    • 1% Partly Skimmed Milk (Best Before: MR 24, 25, 28, 31; AL 01, 04, 07, 08, 10)
    • 2% Partly Skimmed Milk (Best Before: AL 01, 09)
    • 3.25% Homogenized Milk (Best Before: MR 24, 25, 28, 31; AL 04, 07, 09, 10)

If you have these products, do not consume them. Dispose of them immediately or return them to the retailer where they were purchased for a full refund.
