Opening Date Announced for the REM’s Anse-à-l’Orme Branch

Great news for West Islanders! The Réseau express métropolitain (REM) has officially announced the opening date for the Anse-à-l’Orme branch.

Starting Monday, May 18, 2026, four new stations will enter service: Des Sources, Fairview-Pointe-Claire, Kirkland, and Anse-à-l’Orme.

Since the Deux-Montagnes branch launched, the REM has averaged approximately 75,000 trips per day. The final segment of the network, connecting to the Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, is expected to be completed in 2027.
