Montreal is gearing up to rev its engines as the highly anticipated 2026 Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada returns to the city from May 22 to 24!
For one thrilling weekend, the world’s elite drivers will tackle the iconic Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve at Parc Jean-Drapeau. The excitement kicks off days before the main event, with the entire city bursting with high-octane activities.
If you are looking for an upgraded trackside experience, this year debuts the CGV Experience, an immersive, festival-style hub right at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve that pairs racing action with Canadian musical talent. A single ticket grants you access to the race site, exclusive beach platforms, giant live-streaming screens, shaded lounges, and an incredible nightly concert lineup.
Catch Simple Plan and Matt Lang on Friday, May 22; Bryan Adams and Dean Brody on Saturday, May 23; and Alessia Cara alongside The Beaches closing things out on Sunday, May 24.
Beyond the track, F1 craze is taking Montreal by storm! Head over to the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal for Montreal Race Week, a four-night outdoor electronic music festival running from May 21 to 24. Meanwhile, the historic cobblestone streets of Old Montréal will be dressed to the nines, showcasing luxury cars, themed decor, and packed, lively patios.
For some family-friendly fun, the Pit Stop at Centre Eaton de Montréal will offer free activities from May 20 to 24, featuring racing simulators, Pit Stop Challenges, and excellent photo-ops.
Finally, just a few blocks away, the legendary Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival will be in full swing with live DJs, interactive booths, and a non-stop party atmosphere.
