Heads up if you’re planning on driving this weekend in Montreal! The annual celebration of Montreal’s cycling culture is happening this weekend, and a few streets around the city will be closed.
Starting on Friday night, May 29, the Tour La Nuit will cause street closures starting at 5:30 PM until midnight on Boulevard Saint-Laurent by Jean-Talon, close to Jarry Park.
Other streets will be closed starting at 7:30 PM all the way until midnight. Some of the major boulevards to take note of that will be closed off are Boulevard Christophe-Colomb, Boulevard de l’Acadie, Boulevard Gouin, Boulevard Henri-Bourassa Ouest, and Boulevard Côte-Vertu.
As for the Tour de l’Île de Montréal on Sunday, street closures will be happening from 6 AM until 4 PM.
The neighborhoods that will be impacted are Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Le Sud-Ouest, Outremont, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Ville-Marie, and Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension.
It’s also important to note that there will be parking restrictions in some neighborhoods, so make sure you plan your parking ahead of time.
