We already know that Montreal is a world-class food city with an incredible burger scene, but one local gem in particular just caught the attention of Time Out.
Montreal’s very own Casse-Croûte MangeDansMonHood grabbed the #5 spot on a global list of the 14 best burgers in the world for 2026.
Located on rue Jean-Talon Est, this neighborhood spot opened in the spring of 2023 and comes from the creative minds behind La Belle Tonki. While their menu is small, it’s masterfully built around smash burgers and perfectly thin-cut fries.
The only spots that managed to rank ahead of MangeDansMonHood were culinary heavyweights in cities like Tokyo, Cape Town, Madrid, and London.
