Gracie Abrams has scored her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart with Daughter From Hell.
Daughter From Hell is Abrams' third studio album. It was announced in May and released on 17 July, preceded by a pair of charting hits on the Billboard Hot 100: Hit the Wall and Look at My Life.
Abrams shared in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that the title of the album was inspired by her teenage years when she was a "defiant person" who was "totally brutal" to her parents.
The American singer-songwriter previously hit the top 10 with her second album, The Secret of Us, which debuted and peaked at No. 2 in July 2024.
Abrams' album has toppled Future's brief sojourn at No. 1 with The Real Me.
The rest of the top spots on the 1 August chart are populated by Olivia Rodrigo's You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So in Love at No. 2; Morgan Wallen's I'm the Problem at No. 3; and Ella Langley's Dandelion at No. 4.
Also climbing back up the top 10 are BTS' Arirang after the release of a vinyl picture disc edition, and Michael Jackson's Thriller.
