Summer isn’t over just yet, but the first autumn weather forecasts are rolling in, and Quebec is in for a wet season.

According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, which bases its seasonal outlooks on solar trends and historical weather patterns, autumn's weather will be split in two. The eastern half of Quebec is on track for above-average temperatures, while the west can expect cooler-than-normal conditions.

Down south, expect plenty of rainfall through September and October, echoing last year's rainy autumn.

The silver lining? Despite the soggy forecast and dropping temperatures, Quebec's fall foliage remains undefeated. Wet weather or not, peak leaf changing season is right around the corner!
