Legendary country singer Dolly Parton has passed away at age 80.

The news was announced on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, by her nephew Brian Seaver in an Instagram video.

The singer had recently shared an update regarding her declining health, following the passing of her husband, Carl Dean, in March 2025.
