If you use an Android phone and public transit in Montreal, you can now tap to ride using a digital OPUS card!

The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM) announced today that the feature is officially available to the general public.

Riders can purchase and load transit fares directly through the Chrono app, the same platform currently used to reload physical OPUS cards.

iPhone users will have to wait a bit longer, as the ARTM has not yet announced a release date for iOS integration.
