Bixi Will Be Free For Voters on Election Day

Well Montreal, there will be no excuse for you not to go vote next Monday! 

Voters in Greater Montreal, Quebec City, and Sherbrooke will have the opportunity to use Bixi and àVélo bike-sharing services for free to go to their polling stations.

Elections Québec confirmed the news, announcing that it would be available on October 5.

If you’re in Montreal and pick Bixi, you will be able to ride for free for up to 25 minutes on a regular bike or 15 minutes on an e-bike from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Polling stations are set to be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
