Parti Québécois Will Form Minority Government

It’s official: the Parti Québécois will form a minority government following the 2026 Quebec election.

Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is set to become Quebec’s next premier.

This win for the Parti Québécois comes after a decade of decline at the National Assembly. The Liberal Party of Quebec, led by Charles Milliard, will be the official Opposition for the third time in a row.
