If you’re planning to drive in Montreal this weekend, you might want to reconsider!

From October 9 to 11, approximately 35,000 runners from 57 countries will take part in the 34th edition of the Marathon Beneva de Montréal, leading to several road closures.

  • Saturday, October 10: Street closures in the Maisonneuve Park area will be in effect from 6:45 AM to 12:15 PM.
  • Sunday, October 11: Major closures will be in place from 6:30 AM to 3:25 PM for the half marathon and marathon.

The route will cover key areas including the Concorde Bridge, Notre-Dame Street, La Fontaine Park, Saint-Joseph Boulevard, and Saint-Laurent Boulevard.

To help commuters get around, the STM is increasing Metro service throughout the weekend.
