With temperatures dropping and snow already falling in parts of the province, winter tire season is officially around the corner.
According to the SAAQ (Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec), all motorized vehicles registered in Quebec must be equipped with winter tires from December 1 to March 15. Driving without them can result in a fine ranging from $200 to $300.
Don't wait until the last minute, though! Garages fill up fast in November, and winter conditions often hit well before the December deadline. Book your appointment early to avoid the rush.
