Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has just announced an $82-billion aid package to help Canadians and businesses.
The package includes:

  • $27 billion in direct support to workers and families
  • $55 billion to help business liquidity to help stabilize the economy.

If you have already filed your taxes and owe money, you will have until August 2020 to pay your balance due.

Canada and the US have come to an agreement to close their shared border to non-essential travel.
