Legault highlighted that 89% of deaths from COVID-19 are those who are 70 years and over and that is why the government has announced the deployment of additional health workers to institutions for the elderly. Legault also said that all those who are in the residence will be tested to make sure they do not have COVID-19.
Legault also made it clear that even when the re-opening of businesses start, we still have to maintain a distance of 2 meters between each other which will be in effect for "months". Businesses will also help with their employee’s hours so that public transportation doesn’t have a rush hour of people to close together.
