The humpback whale may have died due to a boat strike

It looks like the humpback whale hanging out in the old port over the last few weeks may have died due to a boat strike. 

She seemed to be in good health and had no obvious cuts or broken bones, but they did find some discoloration and signs of internal bleeding that point to being hit by a boat.

They still want to find out more, like what was she eating in the fresh waters of the St-Laurence, the team expects to have a post-necropsy report in about a month or two.
