As seasons change, the one thing that doesn’t change in Montreal is road work and traffic.
Closures are expected in the Turcot Interchange, on Highway 10, Highway 720 and Highway 40.
This weekend, drivers will want to pay close attention to the Turcot, Dorval, and Laurentian interchanges, as well as on the Bonaventure Highway (10) heading towards downtown Montreal.
Major road closures are planned this weekend in Montreal so it will be wise to avoid these areas.

Only two lanes will be open on the Samuel De Champlain Bridge heading toward the South Shore from 10 p.m. Friday to 11 p.m. Saturday.
The Turcot Interchange: The following closures will be in effect from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday
Highway 15 South will be closed between Exit 63-E and the entrance from Gaétan-Laberge Blvd.
The entrance from Girouard Ave. will also be closed, along with the ramp from Highway 15 South to Highway 20 West and the ramp from Highway 20 East toward Highway 15 South.
The ramp from Highway 15 North to Highway 15 North (Décarie) will also be closed, as will Route 136 and Highway 20 westbound in the interchange.
St-Jacques St. will be closed eastbound between Décarie Blvd. and De Courcelle St.
De La Vérendrye Blvd. will be partially closed between De L’Église Ave. and Pitt St.
Notre-Dame St. will be shut down in both directions between Côte St-Paul Rd. and Monk Blvd.
Highway 720 (Ville-Marie)
Exit 6 (for St-Laurent Blvd., Berri St.) will be closed on Highway 720 East from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Highway 10
Highway 10 West (toward downtown) will be closed between Exit 2 (Pierre-Dupuy Ave.) and the next entrance from 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Highway 10 will also be closed between Nuns’ Island and the entrance from Pierre-Dupuy Ave. and des Moulins Rd. from Friday at 10 p.m. until Saturday at 9 a.m. and again from Sunday at 10 p.m. until Monday at 5 a.m.
In Brossard, Highway 10 will be closed between Exit 6 (for Highway 15, Highway 20 and Route 132) and the entrance from Taschereau Blvd. from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
Des Laurentides Interchange
The ramp from Highway 15 South to Highway 40 East will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
Only one lane will be open on the ramp from Highway 15 South to Highway 40 East from 7 a.m. Saturday to 10 p.m. Sunday.
Highway 40
Highway 40 eastbound will be closed between Exit 71 and the entrance from Lacordaire Blvd. from midnight Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Highway 40 westbound will be closed between Exit 52 and the next entrance from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
Dorval Interchange
Highway 520 East will be closed between the Dorval roundabout and the entrance from the airport from 9 p.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Highway 520 West will be closed between Exit 1-E and the Dorval roundabout during the same time.
