When it comes to fashion, some people will spend outrageous amounts of money to look good.
Take, for instance, Gucci, which is now selling a style of “eco-friendly” faded denim jeans. The asking price for these jeans (which look like overalls with grass stains all over them) is just under $2000 CAD.
“This denim overall is crafted from organic cotton and specifically treated for a stained-like, distressed effect,” Gucci says of its grunge-inspired jeans. “It is produced through cultivation and manufacturing processes that don’t involve harmful chemicals, pesticides, or artificial fertilizers.”
Regardless if you have the money to spend or not, do you think $2000 for a pair of jeans that look used is asking a lot?
Is there an item you have purchased, that you now can say you spent WAY too much money on?
