Hospitalizations drop as Quebec reports 905 new cases, 12 more deaths

Quebec health authorities reported the number of new cases dipped below 1,000 today, with 905 new cases of coronavirus in the province, along with 12 COVID-19-related deaths.

Four of those deaths occurred over the past 24 hours and eight were from earlier on in the month.

The number of hospitalizations decreased by 13 to reach 540. Among those in hospital, 99 are in intensive care.

Montreal added the most cases of any region once again with 237, followed by the Montérégie region (137) and Quebec City (117).

As of Friday morning, there has now been a total of 98,226 cases since the start of the pandemic.
