Increasing your happiness can be as easy as thinking about the things you are thankful for. The trick is to make a habit out of it and it doesn’t take much. Set aside three minutes once a week to write down – or just stop to think about – three things you’re thankful for.

In a recent University of Pennsylvania study, 94% of people who tried this experienced an increase in happiness.
