Don’t worry — you won’t have to upgrade to Pro, Business, or Enterprise versions of Zoom this Christmas for your remote gatherings with family or friends.

In the spirit of Christmas, Zoom has announced that it will be lifting the traditional 40-minute time limit on meetings on the platform from 10 am ET on Wednesday, December 23 to 6 am ET Saturday, December 26.

Zoom is also promoting cheers-ing together on New Year’s Eve by lifting their restrictions from Wednesday, December 30 at 10 am ET to Saturday, January 2 at 6 am ET.

Have some family living abroad? No sweat, this is happening globally.
