As of January 7th, 2021, Canada’s mandatory air travel COVID-19 testing goes into effect.
The Minister of Transport, the Honourable Marc Garneau, is requiring that any air travelers bound for Canada will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result to airlines prior to boarding international flights.
Travelers are strongly encouraged to take the Public Health Agency of Canada’s self-assessment test before setting out on their journey to the airport, so they can access information and services in their local area. The self-assessment test can be found at: https://ca.thrive.health/covid19/en
