IT’S AN AD, AD, AD WORLD

In the last 20 years, online and digital marketing has grown exponentially and has created a long list of companies that make most of their profits from digital advertising. In fact, the number of ads we see daily has almost doubled in the past ten years and it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Chances are, you see several advertisements first thing in the morning, either when you check your social media accounts, visit a website, or make your way to work. There are ads everywhere, some obvious and some not so obvious.

But with so much advertising, have you ever wondered how many ads we see daily?

Obviously, our daily ad exposure depends on many factors— from where we live to where we work and how we prefer to spend our leisure time— but according to the marketing firm Yankelovich, Inc., the average person is now estimated to encounter between 6,000 to 10,000 ads every single day.
