Macleans recently revealed their 2021 Power List which includes 50 Canadians they say are "breaking ground, leading the debate and shaping how we think and live."
The list includes politicians, digital media influencers, business personalities, athletes, and activists such as Joyce Echaquan, who appears in third place just behind Tobias Lütke, the co-founder of Shopify, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who takes the first spot.
“Who had more power in Canada in 2020, and was less inhibited about wielding it, than Justin Trudeau? Nobody. Nobody else comes close”, summed up a blurb by Paul Wells about the Prime Minister.
