Gigi Hadid has finally revealed the name of her baby daughter.
The 25-year-old model and her boyfriend Zayn Malik welcomed their first child back in September, and after months of keeping quiet over the tot's moniker, Gigi shared the baby's name in a subtle way on social media.
"khais mom," she wrote in her bio on Instagram, driving eagle-eyed fans wild once they spotted the subtle announcement.
The name Khai has Arabic origins, and while usually given to boys, it means "crowned" or "royalty".
Gigi and Zayn shared the news of their daughter's arrival at the end of September, when the Pillow Talk hitmaker uploaded a sweet snap of himself holding his new baby girl's tiny hand.
"Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful," the singer wrote in posts on Twitter and Instagram. "to try put into words how i am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x".
Gigi kept her pregnancy under wraps until just weeks before her due date, because she felt like her baby news was not the most important thing going on in the world amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
"Obviously a lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening. And then we moved obviously into the reemergence of the BLM movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that," she said back in July.
