Selena Gomez was left "low-key freaking out" after she discovered Billie Eilish wore products from her Rare Beauty line for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

The singer launched Rare Beauty in September with a range of lip products, blush, highlighter, foundation and concealer, and the brand got a big boost on Monday when Vanity Fair unveiled the cover of their March 2021 issue and showed the Bad Guy hitmaker wearing Rare Beauty products.

Sharing the cover on her Instagram Stories, Selena wrote, "Icon @billieilish is wearing @rarebeauty on the cover of vanity fair!! Low key freaking out… (grinning emoji) You look stunning!"

On the Vanity Fair cover, the 19-year-old wears a Gucci jacket and matching gloves in a retro paisley print along with oversized sunglasses. Her hair, in its signature two-tone black and green shade, is loosely tied back and her make-up is minimal, with make-up artist Robert Rumsey giving her dewy, natural-looking skin, a flushed red lip, and a sweep of mascara.

Billie was snapped by self-taught photographer Quil Lemons, who made history with the cover.

"I’m a 23-year-old gay black man who is now the youngest photographer to shoot the cover of Vanity Fair. This cover means so much. This is blood, sweat and tears!" he wrote on Instagram. "I spent a lot of time researching and finding the right way to reintroduce Ms. Billie Eilish to the world.

"In these images, I wanted to convey a feeling of intimacy. She’s one of the world's biggest stars everyone wants to know her. I hope you can feel a closeness to her when viewing these photographs. This cover is my moment!"
