Well Montreal, we hope your A/C is working… because another heat wave is on the way, and it's going to be hot.

Starting Tuesday and lasting through Wednesday, temperatures will reach between 31 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius. With the humidity, it could feel closer to 40 degrees Celsius.

The affected areas include Greater Montreal, Lachute, Lanaudière, Montérégie, and Drummondville.

Environment Canada recommends:

  • Drinking water regularly, even before you feel thirsty
  • Closing your blinds
  • Using air conditioning or fans
  • Heading to public spaces like community centres, libraries, or cooling centres to stay cool if needed

Watch out for signs of heat stroke, which can include: Headache, nausea, dizziness, extreme fatigue, thirst, and dark urine.
