Tooth Fairy payouts have hit an all-time high!

In 2019, the average was $3.70 per tooth. The cost of a tooth is now up to $4.70 each.  That's up 67 cents from last year. About 2 in 5 parents admit to paying at least $5 per tooth. Often, the first tooth received a larger contribution.

  • Kids in the Northeast get the most at $5.72 a tooth.  
  • Kids in the Midwest get the least at just $3.66.
