A professor out of Duke University says diet, not exercise is the only way to lose weight.

He studied the energy expended by a group of hunter-gatherers in northern Tanzania, and compared it with office workers and found both used the same amount of energy, and that when you spend energy on physical activity; the body spends less energy in other places

Yes, working out has plenty of positive health benefits, but his bottom line is “Use diet to watch your weight, and exercise for everything else.”

The bottom line? “Use diet to watch your weight,” he said, “and exercise for everything else.”
