It’s St. Patrick’s Day and what a beautiful day it is to watch U2 live in concert!

The Irish rockers are offering up their first of four upcoming remastered and enhanced live performances today, kicking off with their memorable U2 Go Home: Live from Slane Castle concert in Dublin, Ireland filmed as part of their Elevation Tour on September 1, 2001.

The legendary band is releasing the entire series on their YouTube page as part of a new U2: The Virtual Road campaign. The first concert is already online, and we’ve embedded it below for your enjoyment.

The release schedule for each show is as follows:

  • Wednesday, March 17: September 1, 2001 concert from Ireland’s Slane Castle
  • Thursday, March 25: June 5, 1983 concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater
  • Thursday, April 1: December 1997 concert from the PopMart tour in Mexico City
  • Saturday, April 10: December 2016 concert from the Innocence + Experience tour in Paris

Each concert will be available to stream on YouTube for only 48 hours.

"Every show is memorable for us but these four particularly so," the band says. "It’s exciting to be on the road again… Embracing all the wonder of the virtual road… And especially exciting to be joined by such a brilliant line-up of fellow travellers..."
