Blackpink's Rosé has been named a global ambassador for Tiffany & Co.
Officials at the iconic jewellery brand announced on Wednesday that the K-pop singer had been selected to be the face of their HardWear collection, which is due to be released on Friday.
"I've worn Tiffany jewellery since I was in high school," she told Vogue.com via email. "To be a part of such an iconic brand that has been a part of my life for a long time makes it that much more special to me. I'm very honoured and excited."
In a series of images released to celebrate the announcement, Rosé looks stunning posing in sleek 18K gold gauge link necklaces, bracelets and earrings, as well as diamond-studded rings.
As part of the campaign, the ads will grace the facade of Tiffany's Manhattan flagship in May.
Rosé, who was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia before relocating to South Korea aged 15 and later becoming part of girl group Blackpink, said the classic glamour of Tiffany's pieces reminds her of her own style icon - her mother.
"I still remember when she used to work full time back in New Zealand. How she would dress up in the chicest black fitted blazer and pencil skirt," the 24-year-old star said. "I admire her in so many ways, (especially) how responsible, respectful, and kind she is to the people around her.
"She always looked like a boss with her dark red lipstick and perfectly styled hair. She was always my idol. I wanted to look like her when I grew up."
Rosé follows in the footsteps of stars including Elle Fanning and Lupita Nyong'o in becoming an ambassador for the company.
