The CIUSS du Centre-Sud-de-L’Ile-de-Montreal shared in a press release that they will start to allow walk-ins starting today at the Palais de Congres. They added that those getting their vaccines today can expect a mystery musician between 9 and 10am to greet people of all ages. However, further details on who the musician will be has yet to be announced.
This initiative is put in place to hopefully lure younger people to get vaccinated now that the age limit has lowered to 25+ as of yesterday, and will change to 18+ as of tomorrow.
CIUSS shared that they will be setting aside a few hundred doses of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines reserved for walk-ins. Although, they still encourage people to make their appointments prior through the Clic Sante website.
